Allameh Majlisi - as one of the greatest traditionist who compiled the greatest encyclopedia of Shiite Hadith - not only edited the ancient Hadith collections and put them into a novel classification but also tried to interpret Hadith texts and resolves their ambiguities. The principles of Hadith interpretation in Allameh Majlisi’s viewpoint are very significant as a model of Hadith understanding and criticism. In the present article, the writer has researched into the principles of Hadith criticism and its interpretation according to Allameh Majlisi in Bihar al-Anwar.
