Abstract

The Sasanid empire ruling for a long time in a vast territory, dominated over many neighbouring nations ,including Arabs of Arabian peninsula. The
pre- Islamic literature throws a new light on the bilateral relations of the local governments of Arabian peninsula with the Sasanid empire. The present
article deals with some incidents such as the battle of Zu-Ghar, adventures of
Iyas and Hawzah two agents of
Khusru Parviz, and the occupation of Hazr by Shapur on the basis of the
poetical collection of A'asha.
