This is a research on the influence of Ashari's theological school upon the
mystical principles of Mawlawi. Clarifying two essential and complicated principles of Ashari dogmas, the writer concludes that it is hard, and
sometimes impossible, to comprehend the profound issues of mystical literature in Islam without being fully aware of the backgrounds of theological
