Fehrest Asma'a Musannefi al-Shi'a compiled by Najashi and al-Fehrest compiled by Sheikh-e- Tusi are two outstanding works proceeding to the
investigation of the authorities of tradition. A comparison between these two books reveals the different styles of the two authors in presenting information
concerning the authorities, as well as wounding and authenticating them. Sheikh-e- Tusi's Fehrest indicates the different styles of these two scholars
clearly. Najashi and Tusi educating and studying similarly, lived in Baghdad; this is why their different styles concerning the investigation of the authorities
of tradition seems peculiar. The present article analyzing the principles, compares the view-points of these two great scholars.
