According to Islam, punishment of some sins is dwelling in Hell forever. Does this belief necessitate constant Chastisement or could it
be considered with severance of torment? This is an issue of
disagreement. Some Sufies and at the top of them the celebrated mystic
Ibn Arabi, hold that there is no connection between dwelling in Hell
forever and constant chastisement. Rather according to some proofs chastisement of inhabitants of the fire and those who will dwell in Hell
forever has a stated term and after that period, they will enjoy some delights different from waht is paradise. This article deals with Ibn
