Subjectivity and denying authority of words is the characteristic of Modernity. In the past, man enjoyed a special state in the chain of
creatures which determined his connection to the universe, society and people.
Islamic philosophy claimed that there is no disagreement between reason and religion. Judgement of intellect and that of religion,
therefor, would conform with one another, a priori and what was remained was to prove this conformity a posteriori as well. In modern
time this system was distroyed, man considered himself the owner of everything and looked at the universe as the object of himself. This thought is called "subjectivity" whose meaning is attempted to be more
manifested in this article. It,s ramifications which appeared in expanded modernity is a different issue whose considering would guide us to know
principles of modernity and it,s shaking in post-modernity.
