Kamal aI-Din Hussain W'a'iz Kashefi Sabzavari is one of the most brilliant
scholars of the 9th/15th century and one of the representatives of the cultural
and ideological trends of his age. It seems important to study his life and
charactristics because of different reasons. He lived in Sunni-settelled Haral:
while having strong Shi'i attitudes. He was an active writer and one of the
most well-known Muslim preachers of his age. He was known as an
commentator on the Qur'an, an astronomer and a mathematician as well.
Despite these facts, the historians have not studied his life properly. The

scattered information on his life trying to write as complete a biography of his
