Abstract

Quranic researchers confront different reading in various fields of research on the Quran. This orginates from different pronunciations Quran reciters have used for some phrases and words. Some of these differences are limited to the pronunciations and accents of words and phrases and do not extend to meanings. For example, “Kufuwan ahad”, “Kuf-wa-an ahad”, and “Kufu-wa-an ahad”. But some differences lead to changes in meaning such as: “malik-i-yawm-i-ddin” and “malik-i-yawm-i-ddin” or: “ bi-ma kanuyukaddibun” This article focuses on the responsibility of Q uranic translators when confrouting these differences.
