The various parts of the holy Ouran were revealed to the holy Prophet in irregular
intervals, regarding the best interests, in response of some questions, and following some events. It means that the angel Gabriel was not in continuous contact with the holy
Prophet throughout his prophecy, and the "cennection of revelation" did not exist in the early Islamic period; nevertheless, most of the historkal and interpretive sources,
presenting different causes in its rise and end, have discussed a period after the first revealed verses in which the revelation was disconnected. Discussing the most important
reports of the mentioned event in the traditional, historical, and interpretive sources, the present article, relying on some witnesses, studies these reports and refutes the very
occurrence of this event with its traditionally quoted charactristics

The study of rules of war in Islam reveals the fact that 14 centuries ago, when the human rights, at peace as well as at war, were fully ignored, the Islamic teachings have emphasized on what is approved as the human rights in the modern international legislative system.
Regarding the expansion of these rules, the present article is limited to some rules
and moralities of war in Islam, comparing them with the modern human rights

Researching the bases of "registration of documents", clarifying the Jurisprudential
legitimacy of "registration fee" based on the four proofs (the Quran, tradition, reason,
and consensus), reviewing the orgination and devlopment of "registration of documents"
and the process of the approval of various registration regulations, and criticizing the
existing officicallaw and the documented articles concerning "registrtion fee", the present
article proves that despite the acceptence of the cost of transactions as the basis of the
"registration fee" in official documents on the part of legislative system, the offices ask
for this fee out of the amount additional to what is registered in the document, however
great and legally excused this amount may be. The article comes to an end with a
reference to the spoiled rights of the two contracting parties and some negative
side-effects of this process.

Corporeal substance is one of the issues discussed by the Philosophers. Different
philosophical principles have influenced the attitude of each Philosopher toward the
possibility of understanding, analysing, and describing the mentioned substance.
The present article includes a precis of what Muslim Philosophers, particularly Sadra
and Avicenna, have comprehensively written on corporeal substance. The importance of
these issues is originated from the fact that many propositions pertaining to objects and
su bstantial realities provide the minors of demonstrations in Philosophical issues, and
their affirmation is due to undestanding the reality of substance. the present article deals
with the attitudes of Muslim philosophers toward understanding of the nature, its
position in human thought, definition of the body, and its components and existence.

Setting intellect, as the pillar of religion, aside, the theologians sought for a replacing pillar and grasped the faith. They supposed that the weakness of speculative intellect
could be compensated by the practical one. Finding the weakness of intellect in some
religious axioms, some theologians, such as Thomas Aquinas had permitted practical
intellect to act. William James and Pascal, asserting the deficieny of intellect, let the
practical intellect in on the most important religious axioms, that is the existence of God
and the Hereafter, and gave the believers glad tidings of "will" replacing the deficient
intellect. Their viewpoints were criticized by the following philosophers as well. J.L.
Mackie's critiques concerning these viewpoints have not received any definite responses.
The present article deals with his criticques of the faith theories

In the 4th and 5th centuries, when the Chief-Emirs dominated the Abbasid
Caliphate, some minor rules contemporary with the Buyids and Seljukians, were formed.
Bani Mazyad was one of these rules which relying on its Shi'i tendencies managed to
establish a rich and lasting theological center for the Shiites at a time when the Shi'i
scientific and cultural centers in Baghdad were destroyed and the Shi'i scholars had
emigrated to Najaf. This article deals with the political life of Sayf al-Dawla, the
celebrated Mazyadi Emir, and the relations and confrontations of this family with the
contemporaneous rules, as well as the background of establishment of Hilla and its
historical developments.

The conformity of national customs with the Islamic doctrines was reflected in the
domain of the Samanides, the last Iranian kings of the Orient. The remains of the
ancient Iranian families, besides the su pport of the kings, acted as the main factors of
cultural development. As a result of this cultural co-existence some of the ancient
Iranian customs continued to exist, although the Islamic rites were fully appriciated, and
a great number of Iranian families managed to enrich the Islamic culture and sciences.
Games like Polo, chess, shooting, and hunting were the most popular hobbies of the
princes and courtiers at that time. literary clubs, scientific debates, social gatherings,
preaching ceremonies, and story-telling circles each attracted a specific class of the
society. the leisure time was spent in leisure centers
